Chile Argentina Trip Report – Regina’s ans Andre’s Trip Reports
Too old to work, too young to die – let’s travel. My wife Regina and myself decided to visit the most exciting places on this world and since we don’t know how long we long we can afford the long flights we started with the most distant destinations. And after visiting Antarctica in 2015 New Zealand in 2016 and Australia in 2017 twe decided to visit Chile and Argentina in 2020. Please read our Chile Argentina Trip Report.
Our expectations were manifold: several people had highly praised the cruise from Puerto Natale to Puerto Montt. We did not know how we will be on the Andes plateau at 4500 m. Very few people in Europe know Quebrada de Hamahuaca in Argentina, but it is UNESCO World Heritage Site and was praised in travel reports exuberantly. So we had to fly off and form our own opinion!
So we had in January- March 2020 a gorgeous trip through Chile and Argentina.
We spent ca seven weeks there flew ca. 10000 km within Chile and Argentina and also traveled a lot by boat, public bus and rental cars.
We have written this trip report both to describe what we have seen but also to help other people to plan such a trip. Please accompany us on this trip.
